Sound familiar?
Emailing candidate times to each applicant and waiting for replies takes time
Aligning several interviewers' schedules is hard
It's awkward to ask applicants to sign up for a dedicated tool
How whenly solves it
- 1
Applicants answer from the link, no sign-up
Participants don't log in. They enter a name and mark ○△× on the candidate times, so there's no burden on the applicant.
- 2
Line up the interviewers' availability first
Collect open slots in an event for interviewers, then use those slots as the candidates in an event for applicants; scheduling is done in two steps.
- 3
Manage participants with approval mode
In approval mode, only people approved by the organizer appear as participants. Hide participant names and applicants can't see each other's names.
Tips
- Hide participant names on the applicants' event so other applicants' names aren't visible.
- Set the options to just two, "Available / Unavailable", and replies for interview slots come faster.
Frequently asked questions
Won't applicants see each other's names?
With participant names hidden, only headcounts are shown and names are visible to the organizer alone.
Does it work for one-on-one meetings?
Yes. List candidate times and have the other person mark ○△×; it works for one-on-one scheduling too.
